            Maria: (hangs up on the caller) Uhm, actually, we're gonna listen to some music now. (get up and leaves)
Joe: (follows)
Nick: Okaaay. Well, here's an old song "Burnin' Up"!!! Here, on 20 on 20!!

Joe followed Maria outside calling her name but she refused to turn around. Finally she stopped and sat on the curb again. Joe sits next to her.

Joe: What was that whole call about???
Maria: That was my ex-boyfriend, Zack. He's the one who told me that you were cheating on me. (hugs Joe, crying) Why won't we leave me alone, Joe? Why?
Joe: (hugs her tight and rubs her back) I don't know, I really don't. I'm so sorry about all of this, Maria.
Maria: (pulls away) I can't go back home. I can't. He knows where I live, he knows where I am!!
Joe: I won't let him go near you.
Maria: How can you do that while on tour??
Joe: Come with me.
Maria: I can't.
Joe: Maria, you can. You have to.
Maria: Luke won't let me.
Joe: I'll strangle him if I have to.
Maria: What about Jess?? She needs my help.
Joe: This Is your LIFE at stake!!
Maria: Ok, ok.
Joe: Now go home and we'll pick you up after tonight's concert, say...10:30pm?
Maria: 10:30pm!
Joe: Perfect! (kisses her) Now go!
Maria: (kisses him) Ok, see ya!!

Maria goes back into her car and drives home, she begins to pack. Caroline comes in.

Caroline: So I heard ya on the radio.
Maria: Mmhhm.
Caroline: What are you doing?
Maria: Joe, told me I can go with them on tour.
Caroline: WHAT?!?!
Maria: He's picking me up tonight.
Caroline: I wanna go, too!!
Maria: You have to stay here and help Jess. I will be their opening act. I have to go, I need to get away from Zack. (turns up the radio and coos and Joe's voice)
Caroline: (shrugs and helps her pack)

They pack together, and listen to the JoBros finish their 20 on 20 "DJ"ing. Maria's bags are brought downstairs and by the door. She sits on the couch with everyone else and eats ice cream. Jessica is in the nursery with the twins feeding them and setting them down for the night. At 10:00 Maria begins to get antsy.

Caroline: Maria, you need to relax!! Joe will be here soon!!
Maria: You don't care about Joe, be honest. You just wanna see Nick.
Caroline: (playfully slaps her arm) So WHAT?! I love him.
Maria: (starts laughing)
Caroline: (laughs) So what should we do?
Maria: How about...truth or dare!
Caroline: Okaaaay. Uh, truth or dare?
Maria: Truth!
Caroline: Have you ever kissed a boy you've ever hated so much.
Maria: No, but I came close to it.
Caroline: (laughs)
Maria: Ok, now truth or dare?
Caroline: I'm feeling a little darey tonight!!
Maria: Ok...um...I dare you to....uhhh....str--(gets cut off)
Caroline: (puts one hand over her mouth) Just so we're clear, if you say "do a striptease for Nick" I'll smack you silly.
Maria: Ok, ok, chill!
Caroline Herumph! [[Author's Note: LOL!! Herumph!]]
Maria: How about...you....ummm....hmmm....dump a bottle of water on your head.
Caroline The whole bottle?
Maria: The whole bottle.
Caroline: Ugh! (gets a bottle of water, goes outside--Maria following--and dumps the water on her head)
Maria: (starts laughing)
Caroline: Ok, now you!! Truth or dare?
Maria: DARE!!

The boys' bus pulls up and the boys come out. Kevin heads back to see Jess and Nick and Joe go over to the girls. The girls are giggling because Caroline just gave Maria her dare. Maria pulls Joe over to her and kisses him, but longer than usual. Then, she slowly places the "Kick Me" sign on his back. Nick starts laughing as does Caroline. They pull apart.

Joe: What was that for?
Maria: Oh, just 'cause I love you. (smiles)
Joe: (suspicious) Okaaaay.

After a while they all pile onto the bus after saying their goodbyes. Maria puts her bags in their holder. She was happy where she was. She was happy to be with Joe, especially at a time like this.
