Face Book A major Privacy threat

If you check the facebook privacy policy, they have clauses which allow them to store and use in any way they like. Any personal information you submit to your account they can sell or give away.
They won't ask for a subpoena and simply give your info away to any other third party websites . Such websites are like the applications writer's websites
They also reserve the right to research you on the internet, meaning they might want to trace your email, home address etc all over the internet and elsewhere.
Note that  UK Users fell 5% to 8.5 million in January from 8.9 million in December,
