Nepal's controversial "living goddess" retires
      

KATHMANDU (Reuters) - A controversial young Nepali girl
worshipped by many Buddhists and Hindus as a Kumari, or "living
goddess", has given up her divine position following a request
from her family, an official said on Sunday.
