Reuters - Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc  has had
preliminary talks with Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo SAB de CV
 about a possible tie-up that could thwart an
unsolicited takeover bid by InBev NV , the Wall Street
Journal reported on Thursday.
