Futures point to steady Dow and S&P
      

LONDON (Reuters) - Stock futures edged up on Thursday, suggesting a steadier start for blue-chip indexes and slightly softer for tech stocks. September Dow Jones futures and S&P 500 were both up about 0.1 percent, while Nasdaq 100 was down 0.1 percent.
