            <p>
            The Mirima National Park is located right at the front of my home and covers 2,068 hectares. The area is like a smaller version of the Bungle Bungle Range in the Purnululu National Park.  The Miriuwung people named this area and still live in the region and consider this area to be especially significant to their culture. It is also known as the Hidden Valley.

The valley has rugged cliffs forming amphitheatres, gullies and ridges. It is in this secluded spot where the Aboriginal people have lived for thousands of years.

As the sun travels through the sky, the steep and broken walls of rock come alive as they reflect the
tones of changing light.

The ancestors of the Miriuwung people left a heritage of rock painting, engravings and artefacts.
