Investor's Business Daily - According to a USA Today-Gallup poll, 66% of Americans think the U.S. is in a recession, the most since Sept. 1992; 59% said the U.S. could fall into a years-long depression. The poll ended Sun., the day the Fed extended credit directly to security dealers for the first time since the Depression and guaranteed JPMorgan's buy of Bear Stearns.
