Who among you, readers, was just a bit taken aback when you saw Anderson Cooper of CNN on election night interviewing a . . . hologram?  

How many of you thought Mr. Spock of Star Trek might just beam down from that place "where no man has gone before"?

Wise use of technology?  Or just downright weird?
