            My transcription of the Howard Alden solo version, as played in Woody Allen's "Sweet and Lowdown." Played on an Eastman AR805 through a Fender Princeton. Lots of amp noise. Damn.

There is a songbook of guitar transcriptions of Alden's solos from the film, ostensibly done by Alden himself. The chart for this piece included in the songbook, however, is NOT the solo version from the film, but from a later duo CD Mr. Alden did with Bucky Pizzarelli. I prefer the version he plays in the film, so i did a transcription from scratch. It's pretty damn close to the film version, and if anyone wants it, I'll be happy to forward it, although it's not in tab, but notation. Learn how to read music guitar players!
