Tac Giken Industries, Inc. conducted a demonstration of a rigid tapping stand at the 2008 Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF 2008).

The rotational axis and the feed shaft are servo motor driven, and high precision tapping is achieved by synchronizing the operation of both. In addition, one stand can be used for various tapping applications. For example, the program can be changed for tapping at different pitches.
