Taiwan's Financial Markets Gain After Ma's Presidential Victory

Bloomberg - March 24 (Bloomberg) -- Taiwan's stocks and currency surged
after Ma Ying-jeou won the presidential election, ending eight
years of Democratic Progressive Party rule, on pledges to rapidly
open ties with China and improve the economy.
