NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures cut losses on Thursday after PepsiCo  , a food and beverage company, reaffirmed its 2008 profit and CNBC television reported that Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal planned to boost his stake in Citigroup  to 5 percent, a day after the bank's shares plummeted.<div class="feedflare">
