Culligan the Betta Fish Builds His First Bubble Nest

            Today is exactly one week since Culligan was put into his 5 gallon tank. I've had him for almost two week total time.

I never though I'd see him build a bubble nest because I have read that many people's bettas build their nest after only a couple days in their new home. And his tank has a filter that creates a gentle current at the surface so I thought the bubbles wouldn't stick. Well, Culligan was smart and built it in a corner behind the intake pump that is undisturbed by any current.

The only thing I can think of that I did differently was that yesterday I fed him half a peeled, boiled pea.

Sorry the video is kinda bad quality. I just woke up and have final exams like in 2 hours so I shot and uploaded this video very quickly, haha.
