Opposition threatened to use veto power at cabinet meeting


Beirut- An-Nahar newspaper reported on Sunday that the opposition raised the specter of using the power of its "obstructing third" for the first time during Saturday's cabinet meeting, while the body was involved in discussions regarding the composition of a committee that will supervise the 2009 parliamentary elections.
