Jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard dies in L.A

Reuters - Influential jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, who played on hundreds of recordings during a career spanning 50 years, died in a Los Angeles hospital on Monday, his manager said. He was 70.
