            Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Cutaway SoundCheck - great for recording especially as a strummer, not too boomy.  Pickup could be better for such a high end guitar, but gives enough options to tailor it to fit into the mix.  Wide neck makes it comfortable for fingerstyle too, but that wouldn't essentially be its strength, it's more of a luxury dread.  Great build quality and has loads of headroom to really dig in when you want to, very comfortable with 12s and handles 13s without flinching.  Recorded direct to disk via Rode NT2, not using pickup.
