The Iowa caucuses were a year ago, and the campaign began long before that.  And I'll admit that I was not all that taken with Obama at the beginning in Iowa.

I saw a man who while giving us words of hope and opportunity, was giving us little in terms of what he would actually do. And so I gravitated towards John Edwards.  After the caucuses I managed to get elected a delegate to the Democratic National Committee pledged to Edwards.

But as the primaries went on between Hillary and Barack, I had to listen and watch closely, and as I listened I saw that Barack Obama had developed, learned, and gained from the long arduous road which is our caucus and primary system ...
