Well, this is directed more at Ryan than anyone, but it's a topic for all users I guess.


Coincidentally I came accross this wonderful site, but what surprised me what the site's design.  Using the Windows XP destop design with dragable icons and a start bar.

Well the actual coincidence is that my newly redesigned site uses the Windows XP destop design.  I did NOT copy ryan and actually didn't think anyone had a similar idea to say the least.

Although, my site uses windows, and I have no icons or anything, just a start bar and some windows.  But deffinitely not as much content as Ryan.

Anyways, just a random post about this weird coincidence.

ok, well that's nice(the whole allowing this and all).  I've been on many forums and there are always so many rules to follow, I was just being careful.

It's an ok site and design.  I do like Ryans better, even without the windows.  His start menu is very nice and professional, and the dragable icons are very impressive.  I guess he could add the windows, but I will go ahead and say, they are a hassle.

P.S.
  I am currently updating it so the style will be memorized when you change pages and when you close a window it doesn't come back up when you change pages.

Also, the scripts only work in IE, but the design can be seen in most browsers.

anyways YOU Will be suffering a lot to make it work on most browsers
Many dont support drag and drop and its really irretating cuz RD still now working properly in other browsers too
my advise Make something called "Safemode" like what we call it that is made up of simplter PURE  HTML page this page should include all ur pages as its like a site map from 1 site for search engins + its a safe mdoe for non IE users to use . Personaly i as a long experienced webmaster i have not set up a design for it just a rubbish one cuz 64% of my visiters are IE visiters
