            My first stopmotion movie, made for the Coraline contest run on stopmotionmagic.com. (...I heard about it on SMA). The theme was "Careful what you wish for..."

I used no photoshop, just old-fashioned camera trickery. Shot with a Nikon D200 and lovingly if painfully assembled in iMovie (for the last time, methinks......30fps my backside....). I wrestled with a more appropriate program but had to choose whether to take a personal crash course in it or get to animating, and with the clock ticking, I stuck with what I knew from my little animation tests so far.

 I'm still just working at getting to be a halfway competent animator, but I couldn't resist leaping and trying some of my wild ideas well before I can really do them justice, since the contest jump started me a bit early! .....blame my enthusiasm on a TOO inspirational film that just got burned into my brain in 3-D. I'll be working on an honest-to-goodness 24fps project soon....as soon as my fingertips heal from this one. I can't wait to make people blink twice because they can't tell if it's real. I've got about a zilion frames to go before I get there...

OK, enough description....I need to go sleep for about a week straight.
