WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on Tuesday defended the government's latest bailout of insurer AIG, telling irate lawmakers that he, too, was angry, but that failure to act could have triggered an economic disaster.<div class="feedflare">
