WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top U.S. lawmakers said on Thursday that Congress would take action if accounting regulators and rulemakers failed to quickly improve the mark-to-market accounting standard that has forced banks to record billions of dollars in asset writedowns.<div class="feedflare">
