Bill Ayers is “Sorry” (in that Postmodern Way)
      

William Ayers, the sometime Weatherman, sometime education professor, and sometime campaign issue, was invited to speak on that middle topic at Millersville University in Pennsylvania last week.

“Ayers says he’s sorry,” reads the headline, but we learn as we read on that he is sorry in that postmodern way in which saying you’re sorry doesn’t actually mean you’re sorry, or at least not sorry about what you allow the audience to believe you’re sorry about.
