The Right Attitude

Having the right attitude when it comes to dating is a number one rule to follow.

Let me tell you about Tom (that’s not his real name). He is a guy of great intellect and good manners. He always does “the right thing”. When he started attending a dating course, he was extremely excited and seemed pretty confident. Two weeks later he got in the same rut and forgot everything he learned at the course. Why did that happened, you would ask? The reasons are many but his problem was simple â€" he did not feel comfortable with the changes he was required to make and got back to the “good old ways” he perfectly knew. He also believed so much in the idea that one must always do what looked good to other people. The main problem with him was that he was so afraid of setbacks that when it came to dating girls that he’d rather not initiate a conversation with a good-looking girl.

So, apparently he was not prepared. He was not in the right mode. Or, in other words, he had a poor dating attitude towards himself, towards the society and towards women.

Realizing this absurd reality is the first step in climbing the ladder of successful dating.

Here are the essentials of the right dating attitude:

- Be ready for a change no matter how hard it may be for you. In most cases it is a considerable change.
- Do not believe in the idea that when something looks good to other people it is always good to you. It’s not the case with dating. You have to be more ego-centric.
- Finally, DON’T you ever “listen to” the fear of rejection. Do it no matter what that decadent voice inside tells you. You have to force yourself in the beginning but only by doing so the fear will completely disappear. Forever.
