The Revenue authorities today published a list of nearly 90 defaulters who settled their liabilities in the final three months of last year.
The 88 people involved paid up total tax,You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, interest and penalties amounting to �10.09m, and the list included 31 holders of bogus non-resident bank accounts who between them returned almost �4.3m to the Revenue Commissioners.
The largest settlement involved an investor in a controversial offshore investment scheme operated by the National Irish Bank.

The tax defaulters’ list appeared in the latest edition of the Government’s official publication.
It also reported that a total of �36m was collected from another 3,482 smaller cases, but only the names of those who have been directed to pay more than �12,700 to the Revenue Commissioners were published.
The latest list means that a total of 272 tax defaulters had their names published by the Commissioners last year.
