Getting Along with Your College Roommate;  No big deal.
College-bound students often worry about having trouble living with a roommate. But, if you are willing to follow a few pretty basic rules, there's no need to be concerned.
1. If you are asked to fill out a roommate questionnaire, be honest. That means being candid about yourself and what you expect from a roommate.
2. Get in touch with your roommate as soon as possible. Calls and emails are fine, but if geography allows, try to spend a few hours together to get to know each other.
3. Put together a contract which covers things like quiet hours, guests, music (headphones?),You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, overnight guests, room neatness (do you care?), borrowing, room decor, etc. The more understandings you can have going in, the better.
4. Remember that even if your roommate has little in common with you, you can get along, and maybe become good friends if you are open, tolerant, and slow to judge.
