After practising in Jacksonville yesterday – and then throwing a couple of golf gloves to fans in the grandstand – Levet said:

“It was just a few drunks yelling at me like they used to at Monty.”
Colin Montgomerie also had added security after being targeted at a succession of American tournaments starting in 1997.
Tiger Woods is routinely surrounded by high security wherever he plays.
