The manager of world number two Ernie Els has told him that he wishes to step down – as he indicated he would 10 years ago.
Nic Frangos is returning to focus on his own business interests now that Els’ long-term contracts are all in place.
The pair have agreed the transition will be completed as close to September 30 as possible and Els said in a statement today: “Nic has helped me to set up an international independent board of directors to advise on my associated business interests.
