Childhood ALL survivors may develop problems later

Reuters - Among survivors of childhood
acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treated in the 1970s and
1980s, approximately one in five have developed another severe
chronic medical condition or have died 25 years after their
cancer diagnosis, the results of a long-term study suggest.
However, long-term outcomes in the future may be better.
