Nissan's Mini-Z Aims at the Under $25K Sports Car Segment - Intel

But in our opinion it has also lost some of its original appeal. Motor Trend says the ‘Mini-Z’ may end up as a front-wheel driver possibly built on the Juke/Cube/Micra platform with the design being handled by Nissan’s Chinese design arm. While styling cues from the Juke are mentioned as possibilities the Juke’s 1.6-liter turbo four is tabbed as a leading contender. The Juke’s all-wheel-drive is still a possibility and, in our opinion, is a must for the Mini-Z to work as a FR-S/BRZ fighter. The price being tossed about is $22,000 which works but if the driveline description starts with an ‘F’ it won’t matter. The Mini-Z seems to be aimed at the Chinese market but Motor Trend suggests Japan and Europe may get limited distribution while American consumption is still under consideration.
a
Photo Gallery: Nissan's Mini-Z Aims at the Under $25K Sports Car Segment - Super Street Magazine

Nissan's Mini-Z Aims at the Under $25K Sports Car Segment - Intel |
