France: Police Order Yamaha TDM 900 Motorcycles

Yamaha after a 12 year partnership with the French police have re-signed an agreement to continue to deliver the Yamaha 900 TDM motorcycle to the national cops.<br><br>

The Yamaha will be delivered in a special police version, complete with sirens and strobe lights. No numbers have been issued in terms of sales numbers, horsepower, top speed etc, but the customized TDM motorcycles are part of the "less-than-1000cc"  category for the French administration. In other words, you'll mostly see them in big cities.<br><br>
