Knowing that there are still many that were (and still are) affected by Hurricane Sandy, they decided to hold a fundraising drift event, where for a charitable contribution (various donation amounts ranged from randomly drawn ride-alongs to selecting a designated driver), you could ride-along with just a few of FD’s top drivers roster. However, we know that times are tough on just about anyone, even those who want to help make a difference but are financially strappedâ€"so we held our own contest, where we made a donation on behalf of our winner, Sara Baldos, from Long Beach, CA, so that she could sit shotgun with Dai Yoshihara for a smoke filled run at the House of Drift (that’s Irwindale Speedway).
