Senate backs tax break-focused housing rescue bill
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Senate on Thursday voted 84-12 to approve a $15 billion bill aimed at tackling the nation's housing market crisis with tax breaks for corporations and some assistance for distressed homeowners.
