Ikaria receives three final private equity bids -sources

By Greg Roumeliotis, Soyoung Kim and Jessica Toonkel NEW YORK (Reuters) - Ikaria Inc, a specialty drug company that is seeking to sell itself for as much as $2 billion, received final bids this week from private equity firms American Securities LLC, GTCR LLC and Madison Dearborn Partners LLC, according to people familiar with the matter. Ikaria is set to pick one of those three bidders for exclusive negotiations imminently, the sources said on Friday. Two other private equity firms that also participated in the auction, BC Partners Ltd and Onex Corp, have stopped pursuing Ikaria, the sources said.
