Using the keylock feature

To use manual keylock, perform the following steps:

1.    In standby mode, press and hold the C key.

2.    Scroll to Lock Keypad, and then depress the keylock.

To use automatic keylock, perform the following steps:

1.    Depress the joystick to access the menu.

2.    Scroll to Settings, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Scroll to Locks, and then depress the joystick.

4.    Scroll to Autolock, and then depress the joystick.

5.    Select On, and then depress the joystick.

To unlock the keypad, perform the following steps:

1.    Press the C key

2.    When Turn off keylock appears on the screen, press Yes.

Adding a contact

To add a contact, perform the following steps:

1.    Depress the joystick to access the menu.

2.    Scroll to Phone book, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Scroll to Add Contact, and then depress the joystick.

4.    Type the contact's information.

5.    Scroll to Save and Exit, and then press Yes to save the new contact.

Sending a text message

To send a text message, perform the following steps:

1.    Depress the joystick to access the menu.

2.    Scroll to Messages, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Scroll to Text, and then depress the joystick.

4.    Scroll to Write New, and then depress the joystick.

5.    Type your message, and then depress the joystick.

6.    Type the phone number, or from the phone book, select a saved contact.

NOTE: To access the phone book, press the key.

7.    Press Yes.

8.    Verify the message and number. Scroll to Send, and then press Yes to send.

Selecting a text mode

To select a text mode, perform the following steps:

1.    In the Text screen, press .

2.    Scroll to Input Method, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Select Multitap or T9, and then depress the joystick.

Accessing t-zones

To access t-zones, perform the following steps:

1.    At the Start screen, press the key.

2.    Scroll to t-zones, and then depress the joystick.

Entering a URL

To enter a URL, perform the following steps:

1.    At the Start screen, press the key.

2.    Scroll to t-zones, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Press the key.

4.    Scroll to Enter address, and then depress the joystick.

5.    Select New Address, and then press Yes.

6.    Type the URL, and then press Yes.

Adding a bookmark or bookmark folder

To add a bookmark or a bookmark folder, perform the following steps:

1.    At the Start screen, press the key.

2.    Scroll to t-zones, and then depress the joystick.

3.    Scroll to My Settings, and then press Select.

4.    Scroll to Bookmarks, and then press Select.

5.    Scroll to Options, and then press Select.

6.    Select Add Bookmark to add a bookmark, or select Add Folder to add a bookmark folder. Press Select.
