But so far, compared with Apple’s latest flagship phone -- the iPhone 5S, which has a secondary processor, dedicated to motion and activity tracking -- Android has so far been playing catch up when it comes to helping consumers keep tabs on their health. This is due in part to the fact that not all Android devices offer support to the latest form of Bluetooth, the wireless technology crucial for connecting to devices like the Nike FuelBand and a host of others. However, according to Google Operating System, Google has plans for a future Fitness API which would allow apps to harness activity recorded by a device’s sensors.</p><br clear="all"/>
