That translates to a 12 MP main camera with OIS which contradicts the rumors flying around of a 20 MP ISOCELL unit or the 16 MP one the Galaxy Note 4 popped up with on AnTuTu's database.

Many were looking at the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to have optical stabilization but Samsung didn't include the feature in its current flagship phablet. Now the logical next expectation is for the next Note phablet to sport OIS but it seems highly unlikely that Samsung will drop the resolution.

Still the report suggests that if Samsung goes with an optically-stabilized 12 MP snapper it will couple it with a 3.7 MP front-facing unit. Speculation suggests that Samsung could manufacture the main camera module at the Tianjin factory, which could churn out 1 to 3 million units per month.

Currently we have serious reason to believe the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will make its official appearance at the upcoming IFA annual congress in Berlin at the start of September, while market availability is said to begin on September 25. Other alleged specs include a QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display of 5.7" diagonal. The camera remains an uncertainty, we've heard of it being an OIS-enabled Sony-made unit.
