Alcatel pushes Android 4.4 KitKat for Idol X+

Now though, the Alcatel Idol X+ is getting an update to Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The company will push the over-the-air firmware update tomorrow, August 15, for all existing users of the phone running the latest Jelly Bean update.




In our extended review of the phone, we found out it has an amazing display, solid performance and an excellent camera. We mentioned the ageing software as one of the few shortcomings, but now with Android 4.4 KitKat the dual-SIM smartphone has one of its major downsides crossed...</p>
