HTC sends out invites for an October 8 press event

HTC sent out invites for an October 8 press event. The upcoming announcement will take place in New York City.



There's no word on what will the Taiwanese manufacturer reveal during the event. The invite carries the theme "Double Exposure" and shows what appear to be two women capturing a selfie.

Considering the above, we won't be surprised if we simply witness the US debut of the recently announced HTC Desire 820, which packs a capable front-facing snapper. An all-new device is not out of question either.
