Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A700) enters India for R&D

We also found out that there would be a Galaxy A3 too, thanks to a user agent profile.

But those two won't be the only members of Samsung's upcoming A family. They will be joined by the Galaxy A7 (model number SM-A700). This device has been spotted entering India for R&amp;D purposes by a site that specializes in import-export tracking over there.



Unfortunately there aren't any details about the A7's specs right now. The import listing doesn't mention a thing. We can however speculate based on the model number. The A7 should be a higher-end offering than the A5 (or perhaps a bigger version of it), which has been said to come with a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, and a 13 MP rear camera.

And since it will be part of the A series, it could sport a metal frame and be thin and light like the recently introduced Galaxy Alpha.
