Sony schedules US event for October 9

But is the Japanese electronics giant staging a comeback? T-Mobile already confirmed that it will carry the Xperia Z3 flagship and now Sony has scheduled an event for October 9.



The Demand Great tagline is featured prominently on the invite, that's the line for all Xperia Z3 ads in case you haven't seen them (and indeed if you're in the US you probably haven't).

The event will start at 1:30PM Eastern Time and will run for an hour and a half. That's plenty of time to unveil the Xperia Z3 (and perhaps the Z3 Compact, fingers crossed), can Sony have something else in store? The day before HTC has an event to unveil its action camera but Sony already updated its Action...</p>
