IDC: Huawei dominates the foldable market in China

...The foldable market kept growing in China in Q2, reveals IDC in its latest report. The country saw a 104% year-on-year increase, with Huawei dominating the market with 41.7% of all sales, almost twice as much as the second company, which was vivo.............The research company attributed Huawei's top position to the Mate X5 and Pocket 2 which come with China-made chipsets and satellite connectivity. Then we have vivo with the ultra-thin X Fold3 and the X Fold3 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that started selling right before the Q2 period began.............The April-June 2024 period saw 2.57 million......
