8-core Snapdragon X Plus leaks ahead of IFA debut

...Qualcomm's Snapdragon X-series chipsets come in two varieties – the X Plus lineup which features a 10-core Oryon CPU and the X Elite which comes in 12-core configurations. A new leak from Evan Blass confirms the key specs of the 8-core X Plus version due to launch on laptops announced at IFA Berlin. This will be a slightly cut-down version of the regular X Plus chip featuring an 8-core Oryon CPU and will ship on  CoPilot+ notebooks starting at $800.............Based on earlier reports, the new chip will offer 3.4GHz single-core boost and 3.2GHz multi-core boost.
