CR: vivo was the boss in the Chinese market in 2024, Huawei ruled Q4

...Last week Canalys released its 2024 smartphone shipment numbers for China, and today Counterpoint Research (CR) has done the same. The numbers are quite different, though.......While vivo led with a 17.8% market share for the year, and Huawei was in second place with 16.3%, the third place in CR's report is occupied by Xiaomi with 15.7% of the pie, not Apple. Apple is fourth with 15.5%, followed by Honor with 15% and Oppo with 14.3%.............Xiaomi wasn't even in Canalys' Top 5, so we're not sure what's going on here.
