Samsung Galaxy S25 series has dormant satellite communication support

...As usual with big launch events, some new features tend to fly under the radar. That's the case with the Galaxy S25 series and its support for satellite connectivity. As it turns out, the three S25 series are the first phones to officially support Snapdragon Satellite which would allow users to send and receive messages via satellite over narrowband (NB) to non-terrestrial networks (NTN). Qualcomm confirmed the feature in a press release following the S25 series launch.............Snapdragon Satellite is part of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and more specifically its Snapdragon X80 5G modem.......
