OnePlus Open 2 is not launching this year

OnePlus launched its first foldable with the OnePlus Open in October of 2023 - a device that was for all intents and purposes a global variant of the Oppo Find N3 which launched in China during the same time. With the upcoming launch of the Oppo Find N5 next week in China, expectations were that OnePlus would soon launch the Open 2 as the international version of the Find N5, but that won't be the case.
