Merck "misrepresented" Vioxx data, journal says
      

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Merck and Co. may have misrepresented the risks of its now-withdrawn pain drug Vioxx and allowed a trial of the drug to continue for two years even though it knew it might be harming patients, U.S. researchers said on Tuesday.
