...Verizon today announced a three-year price guarantee for all of its new and existing customers. However, you need to be on the new myPlan and myHome plans in order to benefit. And there's a huge caveat - the "price lock guarantee" doesn't apply to taxes and fees, so presumably if the carrier wants to raise prices, it can just increase its fees.......Anyway, aside from this you can also get a free phone on any plan when you trade in any phone in any condition - but that "any phone" has to be made by Google, Apple, or Samsung.
