why is my mic sometimes so low

why is my mic sometimes loud enogh but sometimes its so low, ppl cant hear what i say. first i thought its my mics fault but i bought a new mic its still like that

turn on the boost option

go to ur sound options click options>advanced controls> go to the microfone advanced button> then ness around by the a;ternetate and boost controls

by the way try messing around by those 2 option each mic have diferant configeration
usually u might find ur mix type on the mic box
