Progress in the quest to ban cluster bombs


On the eve of the Global Day of Action to Ban Cluster Bombs, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) released a report calling the impact of cluster munitions on civilians a blow to development and urging the international community to support a comprehensive treaty that decisively and effectively bans the use of cluster munitions.
