            At Skymark Stadium, Shinji Shimoyama hit a go-ahead three-run
homer to highlight a five-run rally in the eighth inning as Orix beat
Lotte to snap a three-game losing streak.

Shimoyama's shot into the left-field seats off Yusuke Kawasaki
(0-1) turned a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 lead and Osamu Hamanaka padded
the lead with a two-run triple.

Mamoru Kishida (1-0) allowed three runs and six hits in eight
innings before Daisuke Kato finished for his eighth save. Lotte has
lost seven of its last eight games.
